SENATOR OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC PAYS ADVOCACY VISIT TO THE FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE, BIDA.

The Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Niger South Senatorial District, Senator Muhammad Bima Enagi paid an advocacy visit to Federal Medical Centre, Bida.  He said his visit was to show his appreciation to the Management of the Hospital for the good services she had been rendering to the Constituency. He said further that he is very ready for any assistance needed by the hospital to do more for his people.
The Senator also requested for partnership with the Hospital and the Primary Healthcare which is under renovation by him at Enagi village along Bida-Mokwa road. He requested for Management input on the required equipment to put the Healthcare facility into maximum use and in such a way that it will benefit the people of the Community. He expressed further that the project is important to him due to the distance his people from Enagi and its environment had to go before they access care. He appealed for quick intervention from the Hospital on the partnership.
The Medical Director, Dr. Usman Abubakar in his response expressed appreciation for the visit, he further explained to him how existing collaborations with comprehensive Healthcare Centre, Zungeru and Family Medicine Practice Centre, Gawu Babangida took effect and what is required to consider Enagi Primary Healthcare for Partnership. He explained that the Federal Medical Centre, Bida provides the 70% manpower required while the partner institution handles 30%; and in terms of equipment, the partner institution takes charge of 70% while Federal Medical Centre, Bida provides 30%.
The Director of Administration, Mr. Musa Alhaji Ladan who was at the event to receive the Senator, and this team prayed the Senator to have a project in the Centre in his name. A project he will sponsor and his name will be written Boldly on it and that it will be a good legacy for others to emulate.
The Senator who was very happy with the request from the Hospital ask the Management to advise him on which project he can embark on that will take effect from 2023.
The Management then promised to submit to the office of the Senator soonest. The Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Folorunsho Olaosebikan conveyed the gratitude of the Management to the Distinguished Senator for the visit and pray for more visits and intervention from other Community leaders for the benefit of the Populace.
