
The World Health Organization in its bid to curtail the spread and impact of the Covid-19 virus donated nine thousand four hundred and fifty (9,450) pieces of protective face mask to Federal Medical Centre Bida on Thursday, 11th November 2021 through her cluster consultant for covid-19 in Niger state Pharm. Sikiru Bolaji Buari.
The items were received at the office of the Overseeing Head of Clinical Services FMC Bida in person of Dr. Lawrence Uzoigwe alongside the company of Rep. Director of Admin. Mal. Mamuda Mohammed, Dr. Abayomi M.A. (Chairman Covid-19 Committee) and Dr. Eunice Nmadu (HOD Community Health).
The WHO rep also mentioned that the work of the WHO is to support and collaborate with all government institution in order to deliver prompt health care to its citizenry.
The Head of Clinical Services also appreciated the WHO on behalf of the Management and Staff of FMC Bida and promised that the consignments will be used judiciously to further enhance service delivery in the center.
